Lukas Wiemers

As Chief of Staff, Lukas works side by side with our founder Jan Pörschmann. His mission: driving strategic projects from concept to results, at atares, at the German Federal M&A Association, and at GlobalTechMergers. Simply put, he’s the one who makes sure ideas get turned into outcomes.

He didn’t learn the playbook from textbooks. He built it in the field. While studying Law at LMU Munich, Lukas joined a Munich-based life science startup, where he spent seven-plus years owning every facet of corporate development: financing rounds, investor relations, strategic partnerships, and building scalable structures. He knows the M&A cycle firsthand, having led the acquisition of a software company through the entire deal cycle and then executed the integration himself as CEO of the subsidiary. That operator’s mindset is what he now brings to every atares project.

What drives Lukas is technology in every form, from the latest AI tools to figuring out how to build smarter processes. For him, technology isn’t a career field. It’s a default setting. He gets fired up about anything that works faster, smarter, and better. No surprise he landed at the digital M&A powerhouse.

He brings that same blend of precision and speed to life outside the office: golf and padel sharpen his precision and tactics, motorsport feeds his passion for engineering and pure speed.
