Bastian Siefert

During his studies, Bastian was able to acquire comprehensive financial and economic skills, as well as the ability to recognize, process and successfully solve complex problems. After successfully completing his bachelor’s degree, Bastian then pushed his passion for finance and the capital market by completing a master’s degree at a renowned business school.

Through numerous internships, Bastian was able to quickly gain his first experience in M&A and eventually become a part of atares. When accompanying transactions, Bastian not only enjoys analyzing companies and competitive environments, but also the personal exchange with company owners, board members and investors.

Bastian’s greatest passion is sports. Many years of active competitive sports have not only strengthened his discipline and stamina, but also fostered his teamwork and leadership qualities. In addition to regularly going to the gym, Bastian recently discovered his new passion for tennis.

In addition to sports, Bastian loves to travel in his free time. In doing so, he has not only learned to adapt to new situations as quickly as possible, but also to be open to new perspectives. In the meantime, Bastian can look back on a remarkable track record of 50 countries visited – and the trend is still rising!
