Esma Xibri

Esma is an experienced finance professional whose career spans financial advisory and private equity. After three and a half years in financial advisory at Deloitte, she joined AIV Capital, a London-based private equity firm, as an associate. Working in a small and fast-moving team, she covered several investments in parallel and gained deep insight into sectors ranging from healthcare and chemicals to the pharmaceutical value chain, including API manufacturers, CDMOs and CROs. This experience sharpened her analytical skills and further strengthened her exceptional talent for organization and prioritization.

Esma holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Tirana and a master’s degree in global finance from Coventry University, London. Since joining atares in May 2026, she has supported a wide range of projects, from full potential plans and pitch preparation to market research and long list development, quickly earning a reputation for her speed, structure and reliability. Whatever the project, Esma delivers on time, and often ahead of it.

Esma’s path is a story of clear goals pursued with determination. After completing her master’s in London in 2020, she returned to her hometown of Tirana with a plan: to build an international career in finance from Albania. Step by step, she did exactly that, moving from one of the Big Four firms into London private equity, and on to supporting M&A projects for technology companies with atares today. Along the way, she has learned to work seamlessly across countries, cultures and languages.

Working fully remotely from her home office in Tirana, Esma has turned organization into a personal passion. She structures her days with precision, keeps several projects moving at once and firmly believes that focus and good planning turn distance into an advantage. This mindset shapes her work at atares every day and makes her a colleague the team can always count on.

Beyond her professional work, Esma is an avid reader and enjoys spending her free time exploring new developments in artificial intelligence. She is passionate about continuously learning and discovering practical ways AI can enhance both business and everyday life.
